Who is therapy for?
Therapy is for everyone, whether you are coping with stressful life events, the impact of trauma, loss such as the death of a loved one, managing self-esteem or identity issues or specific mental health conditions such as depression or anxiety.

How long is a therapy session?
Here at SMC counselling and psychotherapy, our sessions will be for 50 minutes.
How much does therapy cost?
Each session costs 70 euro.
How often will I attend therapy?
Typically clients will attend a weekly session. However, depending on your needs we can facilitate fortnightly sessions, this is something we will discuss during your first session.
Are the sessions confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is maintained within the ethical guidelines of The Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.
